Summary:

“A World With No Fear” is a fictional film about fear. The images captured between 2017 and 2018 at the Air Base N1 in Sintra, Portugal, are presented as frames extracted from the film and subtitled with a voice-off dialogue taken from a real interview (aired on NPR Radio in January 2015) between a journalist, a team of neuroscientists and SM – a woman whose identity is not revealed, who suffers from a deficiency in the limbic system that prevents her from feeling fear.

“A World With No Fear” calls into question the presence of fear in modern society, and its suppression through natural or disciplined methods, as well as its role in forming attitudes of courage and inconsequence.
