Miggy Angel – “Obviously, I hosted/organised the launch party, and as is often the case there tend to be very few if any photographs of me that surface after these kind of events as I usually move way too fast for any camera – I especially love Sophie’s photograph of me and Jamie though, because it looks like the Poetry Mafia plotting to take-over poetry. And that’s so totally what we were doing!” –
“I would also like to say that I was conscious during the event that there were so many people that were missing – namely the amazing contributors to The Arsonist Magazine, you incredible artists and writers from all over the world – also BHP’s co-editors Caitlin and Dhiyanah – and I want you all to know that I felt your absence on the night, and that there was a shining space in the room occupied by each and every one of your incandescent presences. I hope that we find a way one day to get us all in the same room together, whether in flesh in real time, or through the aid of technology.”
“ALSO THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS PURCHASED THE ARSONIST MAGAZINE YOU HAVE MADE THIS ALL WORTHWHILE AND WE THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND REALLY REALLY HOPE YOU ARE ENJOYING THE WORK WE’VE PRESENTED TO YOU IN THE MAGAZINE XX”
“Onwards for future parties and celebrations! Thank you so much each and every one of you for your support, you are incredible creative souls and you always have a home here at BHP.”
