Burning House Press are excited to welcome NEVER ANGELINE NøRTH as our JUNE 2020 guest editor! As of today NEVER will take over editorship of Burning House Press online for the full month of JUNE.

Submissions are open from today – 1st JUNE and will remain open until 23RD JUNE.

NEVER’S theme for the month is as follows

They say Mussolini made the trains run on time. What if a truly antifascist approach would be the undoing of time as an organizational principle? What if being locked into an organized perspective of reality as a series of events that follow other events allows us to be more easily controlled, our lives parcelled out and sold for pennies? What would the abolition of the hour and the minute, the week and the month, look like? What would come to fill it’s place? How would our lives be shaped?

We invite y’all to share your stories, poems, word collections, digital font sculptures, scribbles and whatever other forms you can find to create anti-time, post-time and/or timephobic literature.

Never Angeline Nørth is the author of Sea-Witch (Inside the Castle, October 2020), Careful Mountain, Sara or the Existence of Fire and other books. They are a multimedia artist and writer with a complicated relationship to reality. They live near a woods in Olympia, Washington. http://undying.club.
